Riesling 2021, Domaine Scharsch, Alsace

The 2021 Riesling comes from the south facing Avolsheim parcel where the soil is light and stony limestone, producing an expressive dry Riesling. This Riesling, with it’s clear, pale lemon color, has an elegant bouquet of flowers and citrus fruit and the palate is well balanced and subtle, supported by fine acidity.

 

This Riesling pairs well with seafood, fish, white meats and young cheeses.
