Les Petits Grains 2020, Domaine Joseph Scharsch, Alsace

Growing on a selection of the area’s two most beautiful plots that produce small quantities but high-quality grapes, these pinot noir grapes are macerated for 2 to 3 weeks to produce a structured red wine which is then aged in 10 months in Vosges oak casks. The wine is a beautiful ruby red color with aromas of raspberry, black cherry and hints of vanilla and slightly toasted wood.

Petits Grains is a dry versatile red that marries well with red meats and light game.
